Their Village is a Senior Advocate Help Center with the senior community in mind. Our mission at Their Village Corporation is simple yet profound: to provide compassionate, comprehensive assistance to seniors 65 and over, ensuring they live with dignity, independence, and joy. We recognize that our seniors have spent a lifetime contributing to our community, and now it's our turn to give back.
Our Programs
Home Care Program
The Home Care Program, offered by our non-profit organization, provides essential assistance to seniors who are 65 years of age and older. We understand that maintaining a home can become challenging with age, and our program aims to alleviate this burden by offering support with various home care needs.
Through The Home Care Program, eligible seniors can receive help with tasks such as landscaping, small home repairs, and lawn services. Our goal is to help seniors live safely and comfortably in their own homes for as long as possible, maintaining their independence and quality of life.
Nourishment Program
The Nourishment Program is dedicated to supporting seniors in our community by providing access to healthy food options tailored to their specific dietary needs. Many seniors face challenges in accessing traditional food pantries due to mobility issues or lack of transportation. Our program aims to address this gap by offering a tailored food distribution service that delivers nutritious food choices directly to seniors. The focus will be on ensuring that the food provided aligns with each senior’s dietary requirements, promoting overall health and well-being. By removing the barriers of transportation and ensuring dietary needs are met, we aim to improve the quality of life for seniors and support their independence.
Care Essentials Program
Our Care Essentials Program is designed to support seniors living on a limited income by providing vital personal care resources. This program offers access to essential clothing, shoes, and grooming services, as well as personal care items such as toiletries, laundry detergent, and over-the-counter health products. By addressing these basic but critical needs, we aim to enhance the dignity, comfort, and well-being of our senior community members.
Techwise Program
The Techwise Program is designed to empower seniors aged 65 and older by connecting them with mentors to help navigate the digital world. Each senior will be paired with a mentor who will provide personalized guidance in learning how to safely and effectively use online tools, explore the many advantages of technology, and enhance their digital literacy. This program seeks to bridge the technology gap and provide seniors with the knowledge and skills to confidently engage in the digital landscape, fostering independence, social connectivity, and access to online resources.
Safety Net Program
The Safety Net Program is a vital initiative designed to support seniors facing urgent and unexpected financial hardships. This program provides emergency assistance to older adults struggling to meet essential needs such as rent, utilities, and prescription medications. By addressing these critical areas, the Safety Net Program helps prevent homelessness, maintain access to necessary healthcare, and ensure stability during times of crisis. Our goal is to provide immediate, compassionate support that safeguards the well-being and dignity of seniors living on limited incomes.
